I am a parent governor and joined the Governing Body in June 2014. I have over 25 years of management experience, most of it in the public sector, and currently work as part of a team striving to regenerate the former Brymbo Ironworks site as a heritage learning centre.
Priest serving at All Saints Church, Poyser Street and Holy Trinity Church, Rhostyllen. A governor for 8 years, I have 34 years’ experience in education, including 10 years as the head of a large secondary school.
I have been a Staff Governor on the Governing Body for just over a year, having been elected by the staff at the school. I have worked at the school for thirteen years in the role of an Attainment Tutor.
I was appointed as a Local Authority Governor in 2008. In 2014, I have also held the role of Chair of Finance and Premises on the Governing Body. I have worked closely with Brickfield Rangers to establish their presence on the school campus.
