Year 11 – Think about your future.

This process starts in the November prior to students taking their GCSE examinations. Throughout Year 11 students will be supported with the option process and be offered support and guidance.  This year we are unable to hold a Post-16 assembly or careers fair, however below are some useful links to help you make the right decision. Continue to talk to your form tutor and/or Mr Martin too.

If you would like to make an appointment with Ryan (Careers Wales), please click here. (Your child needs to login to Goole Classroom to book.)

Parents online drop-in session. If you would like to ask any questions or have a conversation about your child’s choices there will be an online drop-in session from 3:00pm to 5:00pm on 26th November 2020. Keep an eye out for the email invite which will be sent on 24th November.

BACK-UP PLANS

Always consider a backup plan. You have the opportunity of applying to more than one Post 16 provider. For example:

  • If you are applying for Sixth Form you should consider a Level 3 course at college.
  • If you are applying for an apprenticeship, you should consider applying to Sixth Form or College.
