TOP year 9s at Bangor University

On Wednesday year 9 visited Bangor University as part of the TOPs initiative. Bangor University’s Talent Opportunities Programme (TOP) aims to widen participation into Higher Education.
Year 9 took part in a comprehensive programme of activities, with the aim being to raise both their aspirations and awareness of Higher Education.
Bangor University is actively involved in attempts to increase and widen participation in Higher Education and our Talent Opportunities Programme is one of the largest widening access programmes in the country.
Bangor is also one of ten institutions who are partners in the Community University of North Wales, a partnership committed to helping people make changes in their lives through getting a better education. Through this partnership, Bangor helps to widen participation by the Reaching Higher, Reaching Wider programme.
