Continuation of Learning letter to parents

We are in a period of significant change to the way in which schools work and as a result the way in which we learn is changing rapidly. Generally many of our students have settled back into a basic routine for schooling over the last few days, please continue to encourage your child to follow a weekly plan for exercise, social and leisure time as well as learning.

The work provided is all guided by the teachers, and includes details about when they can be contacted for support as well as what they expect to receive back from your child, by when and what this should/could look like.
Please find below the Ysgol Clywedog Continuation of Learning Plan relevant to your son / daughter. Hopefully this will help structure the school work and learning, but also be flexible enough to fit into home life. However, please do bear in mind that wellbeing and good mental health is more important than completing all the work set – do what you can.
Please take the opportunity to read the document as it not only sets out a context, defining key roles, but also provides both a specific weekly flexible recommendation for your child and a suggested schedule for a ‘normal’ school day.
